Our Third Apartment at Szervita ter...

In January of 2011 we had the opportunity to buy a small apartment adjacent to Apartment Belle.  We have renovated it fully and the first guest stayed in it on May 31, 2011.

Just as Belle and Sarah are joined by double doors in their respective living rooms, Belle and Liesel/Pierre are joined by double doors between Belle’s entry area and the hallway into Liesel’s bedroom.  Similar double doors connect the bedroom to the living room of Liesel/Pierre.

Because the bedroom can be entered from (and also secured from) either Belle or Pierre, we are able to rent the new apartment in several different configurations

  1. Apartment Liesel (that’s a floorplan of Liesel above): a one-bedroom slightly smaller than Sarah or Belle (and offered at a slightly lower rate), with a queen bed, a kitchenette off the living room (with a view over the rooftops of Pest and on into the Buda hills), a living room with extremely comfortable InnoDesign Bifrost queen convertible, a custom bath, and a wc.

  2. Apartment Pierre (that’s Pierre’s floorplan below), a bed-sitter/studio apartment identical to Liesel except that there is no access to the bedroom, making it a comfortable efficiency apartment for 1-2 guests, our least costly apartment but no lower in amenity than its siblings...

  3. All three apartments can be rented together as one large 3-bedroom, 3-bath apartment

  4. Sarah and Belle can, as always, be joined to make a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment.

  5. Belle can be joined to the full Liesel apartment, making it a slightly smaller 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment than SarahBelle.

  6. Or Belle can be joined to the Liesel bedroom, making it a 2-bedroom, one bath apartment.

This remarkable flexibility allows us to accommodate almost any group of guests at Szervita ter, from a solo travelers seeking a pied a terre to a multi-generational family group of up to a dozen people...
